- CANARY ISLANDS: El Hierro and La Gomera (December 26, 2003 - January 6, 2004)
- CYPRUS (May 26 - June 2, 2004)
- IRAN at Night (July 2 - July 31, 2004)
On our way to the south, down the Zagros Mountains, we made a number of short stops (Nagade, Saqqez, Divandarre, Horramabad, and Askaran) in mainly higher altitudes and concentrated ourselves on searching for Pedestredorcadion. Pedestredorcadion hellmanni and Pedestredorcadion scabricolle were the most frequently recorded species. In addition we also found Pedestredorcadion laeve (Faldermann) and Pedestredorcadion cingulatum (Ganglbauer), a species endemic to Iran.
